Initially I had contacted Kunal as perspective buyer as a 17 year-old college student having very little knowledge of what it costs to import a Nissan Skyline GT-R. I had limited funds at the time and was more-so looking for someone to give me a knowledge base and potentially place a deposit. Kunal was extremely helpful probably knowing that I was not able to purchase such a vehicle. After exchanging 50+ emails in 2014 which included asking him every possible question you could imagine – which he answered ASAP I learned the process is not as easy as buying something off of eBay and although vehicles may be cheaper, the shipment and quality costs are not however they are worth the money. Fast forward to December 2015 I began searching locally (within Canada) for a 1992-1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) as I figured they were cheaper than their superior younger brothers. I searched through Kijiji, GTRCanada websites, the basic routine. I got into contact with a Quebec importer (which will remain nameless) who was very sketchy and unsurprisingly cheap. After trying to put up with said importer for a few months (after winter has passed) I called it quits as the cars had a lack of vehicle history, auction sheets, and confidence when considering the purchase. It is now the first week of March 2016 and I recalled Kunal’s impeccable customer service and many emails we exchanged so I shot him a message and told him what I was going through. Being the kind of guy Kunal is he listened to my issues and offered me the opportunity of letting him be my importer – I thought it over and realized this this guy is the real deal he is professional, this isn’t his only business, he understands my position, my budget, what I’m looking for and what I have been through. He also showed me that the superior brethren (BCNR33 Nissan Skyline GT-R) was actually affordable for my budget – so being as excited as ever I sent him my deposit and it was the best experience ever. Although not ‘winning’ cars at auction the first few tries is discouraging I finally scored my 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R VSpec for under budget on April fool’s day 2016. WhenI got the text from Kunal I thought he was messing with me, but he wasn’t, we scored and I had never bought something so expensive in my life (I daily a Hyundai Accent), with so much confidence – especially when you consider it was still in Japan. Kunal promptly gave me the break down on how everything is going to work. Nearly every day I eagerly filled Kunal’s inbox with messages regarding receiving my purchase like everyone else does, he was such a good sport about it. Throughout waiting the few months while my new baby was on its way home, I was reminiscing to Kunal of all the modifications I wanted to do, which he mentioned he had some parts laying around left over from his (impeccable) GT-R and if I wanted them I could come grab them, which I was all over. Upon registration I was having trouble with my local Service Ontario, so I gave Kunal a ring and of course, being the swell guy he is, gave me a walkthrough of what to do, what I needed to present, and everything necessary to make it all work out.
The point I am trying to make here is that Kunal Arneja of Arneja Trading is in my opinion the absolute best in the business in terms of customer service, quality, results and cost, he has been there through it all with me since day one and still here today as I’m writing this while talking to him about a dyno run I did earlier today. He understands and talks to you on a personal and professional level so that you feel nothing but absolute confidence. All I’ve had to do through this entire process of purchasing my dream car was say; ‘Yes, no’ and sign. I will be purchasing again through him in the future if everything goes my way, I have recommended him to everyone I have met and will continue to do so. Members of the GT-R community that did not use Arneja Trading recommend Arneja Trading because they know Kunal will do his best in finding you the top quality car for your budget.
Thank you, Kunal Arneja, of Arneja Trading for making a dream come-true.
